Michelle is a Giddings
high school graduate of 1985. Michelle enjoys spending time with her
two daughters and outdoor activities. Michelle was employed with NBT
in April of 2006.

Assistant Vice President &
Loan Officer
Scott is a lifelong resident of La Grange and Fayette County. Scott
graduated from La Grange High School in 1983 and Southwest Texas State
University in 1988 with a Bachelor's Degree in Technology. Prior to
recently being employed with National Bank & Trust, Scott
Worked in Municipal Government for 13 years where he served in various
Community affairs. Scott enjoys working with the public and loves the small
town atmosphere that La Grange offers for family, business, and recreation.
Scott's hobbies include ranching, hunting, and fishing.
Karie J. Brandt
Loan Secretary
Karie is a graduate of La Grange High School. Karie started working for National
Bank & Trust on June 5, 2000. Karie enjoys fishing, riding
4-wheelers and spending long hours in the country. Karie is a member of the
Holy Rosary Church located in Hostyn and is a Member of the Fayette County
Fair Board.
Lynsey Pietsch
Loan Clerk
Lynsey is a La Grange High School graduate of 1999. Lynsey joined the
National Bank & Trust staff on December 10, 2002.
Lynsey enjoys reading, and cross stitching.
Michele Stokes
Loan Clerk
Michele is a graduate of Blinn College and has been employed at National
Bank & Trust since April 2000. Michele is a member of the Mt.
Calvary Lutheran Church where she is the Secretary on the Board of
Education. Michele enjoys living and working with the friendly people
here in La Grange.
Duke Hengst
Senior Vice President and Senior Loan Officer
Duke graduated from Texas A&M in 1982 and began work as a Loan Officer
for National Bank & Trust. Duke is a native of La
Grange and is an active participant in community affairs including being
past president of the Rotary Club and past Chair of the La Grange Chamber
of Commerce. Duke currently is on the board of the Fayette County
A&M Club He is also currently a member of the La Grange Main
Street Advisory Board and Treasures of the La Grange unit of the Salvation
Army. Duke's hobbies are hunting and fishing.
Sherry L. Callis
Vice President and Loan Officer
Sherry started her employment at NBT in 1997. Prior to joining NBT,
Sherry had worked in the banking industry for 19 years. Sherry graduated
from La Grange High School in 1983 and from Southwest Texas State
University in 1987 with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Sherry says that
she enjoys her job thoroughly because she gets to visit with so many of the
great customers of National Bank & Trust

Michelle graduated from Columbus High School in 1992. Michelle is a
lifelong resident of Fayetteville. Michelle began working for NBT in April
2002. Michelle's hobbies include reading and baking.
